Admission to the school is in accordance with the criteria laid down in the Leeds City Council Admissions Policy. This gives priority to children in public care or fostered under an arrangement made by the local authority or children previously looked after by a Local Authority; children who have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be so as a result of being adopted; children with special educational needs; those with siblings already attending the school and children living within the school’s catchment area. If places are available in any year group, other children from outside the area may be admitted.

Primary Admissions

Children are admitted at the beginning of the school year (September) in which they will have their fifth birthday. If your child was born between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018 they should start school in September 2022, and you will receive a letter from Leeds City Council at the end of October 2021 inviting you to apply.

The online application form will be available to use from 1st November 2021 for applications to start Reception in September 2022.​​​

Your application needs to be submitted by 15th January 2022.

Offers will be sent out on 19th April 2022 (Offer Day).

You must submit an application even if your child attends our nursery or your child has a sibling in school.

In Year Admissions

Families moving into the area and seeking school places for their children should contact the school office. If you wish to transfer, you will need to either apply via the Online Parent Portal or complete an In Year Common Preference Form – please see below links.
